Hello guys I just received my new tubes and coolant and I'm gonna change it after I've cleaned the new tubes but I have a question, since I'm adding new coolant (pastel) to my tubes, how clean must the blocks and rad be? Do I have to remove every block and clean them before I add the new coolant? Or can I just remove the rad and poor out all the coolant inside it and then put in my new coolant?

As much info as possible would be great! Thanks guys!

Thank you, I just have 1 L of distilled water so I couldn't use that (I thought at first) but then I read on the pastel label that you only need 750 ML of water so I can use those 250 ML to clean out the rad entirely, I'm just afraid that there will be like .. "stuff" left inside the blocks and that it will mess things up since it says that you can't mix it with other coolants, but I guess they mean more like "Don't use 50% of this coolant and 50% of that coolant".

take the blocks apart and clean them. Make sure the o ring goes back where it should.

Break down the entire loop and clean everything using tap water to flush out any remaining old fluid/color first before giving it a final rinse with distilled water before re-assembly. If you notice any gunk in the blocks you will need to take them apart for cleaning.

Ty for the help guys! I have a picture of the end result (you can see what it looked like before in my signature). But since I now have blue pastel and clear tubes instead of UV coolant and UV tubes I'll have to remove my UV lights and I'm buying an RGB controller instead!

But this is what it looks like atm, the PSU cable pushes a bit on the reservoir but I will fix that with some cable ties later, I was all out atm.
