R9 290's value has been solid for a while and has actually gone up slightly in terms of used value. I bought two for $220 CAD each 8 months ago and i'm having trouble finding any for less than $250 each.

It's worth +,- $600.

In what currency? Also these appraisals are completely off... The CPU alone sells for $350 CAD on ebay and the motherboard is $150-200. No more guessing please guys, I'm looking for an actual appraisal.

no 600-900 usd is about right

doesn't matter what something goes for on ebay

they have to actually sell that that price...which it wouldn't

That's in richmond where you can find anything for cheap. Even for that area that deal he found was low. Take a look on craigslist etc in that area. On newegg a R9 290 is $358 CAD after shipping and tax.

"Goes for" is referring to the selling price. Under advanced search and "sold listing" they sell for $350-$450. Also he said $600-$900 USED not USD so i assumed he meant CAD because he didn't mention the currency.

Go take a look for yourself on craigslist etc. You can't find a R9 290 for $200 CAD on newegg btw, Whatever currency you're talking about it's very relevant to the topic which is why i asked you to mention it in the title. On newegg a R9 290 is $358 CAD after shipping and tax.

I did mention it

Sorry i missed that part about the used USD price of R9 290's so when you went from saying they were $200 on newegg to saying that Luke found one for $180 CAD i wasn't sure what currency you meant.
