Hey guys

I play some games on my PC using one of my ps3 controls

I love it, but would much prefer the option of using it wireless

Would this work?

What do I need to know before hand?

Thanks in advance

Haven't used either of those, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work.  I'm using an Orico Bluetooth 4.0 adapter connected to my monitor's usb hub and it works fine for my DS3.

IIRC depending on what controller software you use you shouldn't use the included drivers from your adapter and let your software install the compatible driver.  I'm using the motionjoy driver and BetterDS3 as my actual controller software so I don't have to deal with any of motionjoy's ads and always online nonsense.

I don't have that folder, you're probably using one of the alternative options out there.  There are at least 2 or 3 utilities that can be used to connect the DS3.  Realistically any decent looking bluetooth dongle should work, as far as I know there isn't anything particularly proprietary requiring you to have a specific device, so you should be good to go. Just make sure you read all the relevant documentation and instructions for your software about connecting via bluetooth.
