Which is better for 1080p? playing most of the next gen games. Gtx 970 or r9 390?

But probably the 390 because of the vram and because amd supports cards for longer

I watched videos on youtube and most of the videos showed that 970 had higher frame rates.

I watched videos on youtube and most of the videos showed that 970 had higher frame rates.

In 1080p they trade blows, and the 390 is in the lead at higher resolutions. Future games will use more VRAM, which the 390 has double the amount as the 970.
