Looking to make the jump into 4k gaming (above is my best guess at an affordable-ish build) im committed to the 980ti on this build but i have concerns about possible bottlenecking from the rest of the system. My budget is around 1.5k USD with some wiggle room. Not a very experieced builder so any advice or tips on parts would be greatly appreciated

thanks

You definitely don't want that CX PSU, with such a gaming rig.

Go for anything Seasonic/XFX, EVGA G2/B2 or Antec High Current Gamer.

Why the dopey looking high profile ram?

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

No OC'ing, better SSD, better PSU that allows for SLI later if you choose :3 And a smaller, quieter case.

Yis. If you are willing to save up for longer, then I'd support you getting the Unlocked CPU, get the Z170 motherboard, and get a liquid cooler that isnt 120mm .w. or a noctua highend fan.
