CSGO runs on a 10 year old engine and was release 3 years ago, so any GPU that came out within the past year can easily dominate it. With battlefield, I would recomend either an AMD 380 or an GTX 960.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Dodgy psu, wrong currency, better of going z97 for a build of this budget and a build of this price should have an ssd.

Other than that nice build :)

This is a great build, but if mild gaming and web browsing are going to be your only tasks, I would recommend going with AMD instead of Intel if you want to save a few.

OP should buy a PSU he/she is comfortable with since I am pretty sure corsair makes no "dodgy" psu's, but it all comes down to personal preference. But I do think that z97 would be a nice cheaper way to get great performance if you didn't want to buy more expensive DDR4 and Z170 boards :). And sorry about the currency, I thought that it wouldn't really matter since you can just google how much 800$ USD is in pounds :)

EDIT: Ooops I see what you mean XP I thought 700 pounds was about 800$ USD.... Here is a corrected build

Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($122.98 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($62.44 @ OutletPC)

I wouldn't consider Battlefield "mild gaming" Its pretty intensive on both the GPU and CPU. Also most of all the super graphically intensive triple A games that come out for PC's happen to be pretty hard core too, and since thats what the OP said they where interested in I would say that intel wouldn't be a bad way to go, but AMD wouldn't be a terrible decision either :)

That is true, but i don't doubt that a good AMD processor (paired with a good AMD or nVidia GPU) can run Battlefield maxed out just fine, for a fraction of the price. To each their own. ;)

OP uses Pounds Sterling mate, pay attention. You're using US pricing.
