Is it worth the wait ?

Hi guys, I am trying to buy some parts for a new build. I am getting a combo deal

      1. an MSI R9 390 for $299 (+$20 rebate)

      2. MSI Z97 gaming 5 for $149 (+$15 rebate) (I was actually looking for Asus Z97-A)

      3. i7 4790k for $339.

I am getting this combo for additional discount of $40 (other than rebates) i.e. for around $719 after rebates. I have no idea what kind of deals you can get during black friday or if it is easy to get the deals before they are gone. So you guys think its worth waiting for black friday or should I just buy this now. Any help will be appreciated.

 

P.S.: I am from India, so I have no idea how black friday works. My friends going to get this for me.

Black Friday is just a day when stuff in North America goes on discount. Same thing with Cyber Monday.

 

You mentioned rebates so I suppose you're buying from the US. In that case it might be worth the wait.

 

Do you really need an i7? Its just a higher clocked i5 with Hyperthreading.

Yes, I am buying in the US (online). My friend will pick it up and get it to India.

I just went for the i7 coz i also do a lot of programming and data processing.

I would suggest you wait. But also, you could take down notes of all the prices. Just in case when Cyber Monday and Black Friday those don't have deals
