I'm playing alot of GTA 5 Online

It's one of the most customizable games in settings, but I don't know what to choose...

things that confuse me:

FXAA

MSAA

Reflection MSAA

Anisotropic filtering

is it Bigger = Better?

because if i set everything max, i get around 55FPS

that confuses me, I have i5 4590 + R9 390

Here are some settings I would recommend for you

4x MSAA (Usually MSAA has massive impact on performance which is why i only recommend 4x )

16x Anisotropic filtering (Very little impact on performance)

Texture quality - I stick this to High because for whatever reason I can't get playable frame rate above that with my GTX 770

view Distance - Full

etc

If you have high performance (usually also comes with high vram) then max out every single thing except for resolution.

SO basically max out everything except resolution!

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Here are some settings I would recommend for you for 60 fps

if i max everything out i get about 65 fps when alone, but can drop to 35 when crouded

Do you have extended distance scaling enabled?

What is your MSAA setting?

Maybe lower texture quality?

i turned down quite a few things but still the same, something must be wrong, i got same fps with my old specs(i3 + 970)

Try going to the nvidia control panel and look for a POWER setting and set it to maximum performance (this is not enabled by default *facepalm*)

i don't have 970 anymore, i have 390

Ummm? Do you have an AMD equivalent in AMD Catalyst control center?

The mobo isn't ideal. Ideally you would have gone for Z87 or H87 since more PCI-E lanes are available ( i think).

And also I just realized your resolution. To be completely honest the frame rate you're getting is probably completely normal for a 390 and 2560x1080.

Oh ok.  IS it OCed? I know GTA V hates heavily OCed Graphics cards.

Any power equivalent with AMD?
