Latency/ Lag problem?

When I type a bunch of things really fast example: alhdlawhduiowahdoiwahdouiwahd. Into my web browser. (Even in this textbox). When I let go of the keys I see the keys registering 0.5 seconds later. Why?

 

EDIT: Running Windows 10 home and on an Acer M3970

 

 

Have you tried restarting your computer?
