Hello, I have recently been trying to play BO3 but have been running into some ram issues.

I have 8GB of corsair vengeance ram but I noticed I keep crashing because I don't have enough ram.

I looked onto my system information for the first time to find this

I was wondering if anyone knows why I only have 5.4GB available.

No, would that just be placing it into different slots in the motherboard?

Yes and no, simply lift the ram out of its slot and putting it back in. Make sure to read the mobo manual and using the recommended slot first.

Most mobo should recommend the first slot and the third slot first for better performance.

To answer your question, basically it's normal that the available memory is lower than the physical.

This page will tell you why http://brandonlive.com/2010/02/21/measuring-memory-usage-in-windows-7/

Easiest way to solve ram issue for game is to buy more ram.
