Hi,

I just downloaded Fallout 4 and it crashes as soon as i press the 'PLAY' button after opening the game through steam. I believe this is because of my video card, which is a replacement a friend gave me as my old one broke.

My current system is as follows:

CASE: CoolerMaster Elite 430 Mid-Tower Gaming Case with Side Panel Window

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 Quad Core 3.40 HGz 6MB Cache LGA1155

Storage 1: 128GB Kingston SSD

Storage 2: 500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16 MB Cache

Memory: 8GB DDR3/133mhz Dual Chanel  - Kingston

Motherboard: Asus P8H61-MX Intel H61 chipset Micro ATX Mainboard w/ 2 RAM slots, 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, SATA-II, 1xGen2 PCIe, 1xPCIe , 1 x PCI (B3 Stepping)

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4600 series

Power: 500W Cyber power gaming Power Supply

I think I need to replace my graphics card but not sure which is best! not a high budget but I wont set a limit as I want the best advice! thank you!!!!

Yeah lol no. The 4600 series won't work

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

It wont work with Fallout 4?

a 7870 or 550Ti is required

get the R9 390 from MSI

for the lowest budget card with decent gaming capabilities, go with 750 ti as @Pugs501 said. Then if you want just a little bit more firepower, there's the r9 280 or 290. You can find a gtx 950 for 150$ or a gtx 960 for 180$. Going with amd will require a higher power psu though. higher than that there's the gtx 970 (be aware that it's 3.5 gb though :P )

R5 3600x | RTX 3070 | 16Gb 3200mhz | Gigabyte B550 gaming x | 500gb 660p SSD + 1tb wd blue HDD |

Will the 390 work with my power supply?

Probably not.

Try and get a nice Seasonic 650w or 750w power supply if you can!
