Can't Install GPU

I'm not sure if i'm just being a noob but I can't seem to install my graphics card.

When I boot up I get a GPU red light not sure why. I can't really pre install the drivers so i'm not sure what im doing is wrong.its seeded properly but still nothing

Tech support would ask, is it plugged in? Have you plugged the 4 pin from your PSU in?

Did you plug it into the motherboard PCIe slot completely?

Did you connect the 8-Pin PCIe power connector?

Did you plug your monitor into the GPU?

 

(Answer all three, don't be that guy that just answers one or two of the questions..)

it was me being a noob. i didn't know if you had a gpu in that would be the main video source. I thought i'd have to download drivers before using it. I didn't have my monitor connect through it.

go into bios and change the setting to make the card not onboard video ( uefi bios ( under northbranch settings ) look for it.
