Games run slightly better on Windows 8 and 10 due to better resource management than Windows 7.

Fallout 3 is a dated game now, eventually it won't run on new operating systems. You can run it on a VM though.

EDIT: Fallout 3 does run on Windows 8&10 apparently, you just need to update/install games for Windows Live http://steamcommunity.com/app/22370/discussions/0/828937546147175081/

Yeah, the Fallout 3 incompatibility is Bethesda's fault, not Windows 10's.

Windows 10 is the best for gaming, especially since it supports DX12.

Ironically more games work on Windows 10 then they do on Windows 8.1 / 7 with me. I've had zero issues with Fallout 3 and other similar GFWL titles unlike when I would try and play them on W7 / 8.1

um I can run old games like starcraft and diablo 2 fine without touching anything. On windows 10, were as on 7 i had to change settings and it would still break if i played for more then 30 min.
