Hello guys, I am currently setting up a website and have almost finished it, I have barely any experience with HTML etc so have learnt as I've gone along. I'm using wordpress so also using a lot of the built in features. My question to you all is this, I want my site to have a member element that people sign up to, this will involve them having their own profile page that includes some basic information like biography, who they are, some of their interests etc also it will have a feature where they can upload photos, videos and audio. But with my limited knowledge i have no idea how to do this, I have found no plugin either that will enable me to do this, I really need to have this site finished and ready for launch by the end of the year, does any one have any suggestions or knowledge in this area.

Look into php and databasing it will help :)

Youre going to need to build a database, learn a little bit about Microsoft Access, its the best place to start so you can learn the basics of how a database works.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Do not waste time learning Access.... "Look into php and databasing" also isn't going to help. If you were building a site from scratch, then yes, a server-side scripting language and a database would be necissary but you're already using a CMS (Wordpress:)

 

There are already dozens of front-end profile solutions for Wordpress: Ultimate Member, Profile Builder, Front-End Only Users, etc... Find one with the features you want and off you go.
