I was looking into trying to put together an egpu solution for the surface pro 3, with the new surface book having a cpu in the keyboard and the connector for the base of the tablet portion looking similar to the one that is the charging port for the surface pro 3 and 4, I was wondering if you could use that as a port for an egpu rig.  I would have tried usb 3 but I figured that it would be too slow and haven't found anything on it.  I have not bought anything at this point or physically tried anything, I figured it would be best to see what you all think about this before moving forward.

The Surface Book doesn't have a CPU in the keyboard dock.  It has a GPU.  Additionally, you'll need at least 64Gbps or higher in order to have any kind of upgrade.  The Surface Pro 3 has a 4th gen Core series CPU with its integrated GPU, which is actually quite nice and should be able to play just about any game that you'd want to play on a 12.3 inch screen.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yes, this is where I bought it.

To stay on topic. You can't do an eGPU setup, with any of the Surfacee products. It has no mPcie, Expresscard, Ng.ff or thunderbolt support.
