Hello everyone i'll get right to the topic. For quite some months now when i'm shutting down my pc it shuts down and all cool but the LED fans are staying on and spinning slow for a couple of minutes before they shut down too. I think the PSU is dying (or haunted  :P ) but before i change it i found it reasonable to take some advice from someone that have seen this before.

How long will you define "couple of minutes"?

At first it was for 1-2 mins but now it goes all the way to 20-30 mins until they finally turn off.. what can i say? maybe it doesn't want to go off.. maybe it wants to stay on and haunt my room with it's green led fans and my pull my nerves until i throw it to the sea...

Anyway back to the topic, is it safe or it will blow on my face? Because i have seen sparkles on a psu in an internet room before and i wasn't pleasant experience i freaked out  :P

I don't think it would blow anything, sounds more like it will have a slow death.

I personally would change it just to be sure. Are you fans connected to the motherboard, or molex?

It's not a race to the bottom.

They're on molex and that's why i suspected the PSU was dying but now i have 2 of 4 connected on motherboard and the stay on too so is this PSU also gonna kill my motherboard?

No, I wouldn't think so. As long as the power is clean and steady then it should be fine.

However just to be sure there's no harm in changing the PSU, or get an RMA if possible.

It's not a race to the bottom.
