I need help choosing a modem/router for my home. my budget is ~100 AUD. i can only get the parts from msy, morningside and i have to go quite shortly.

 

any input is valued

 

edit: can someone please tell me if this is good for an OS ssd?

Doesn't your ISP provide you with a modem? I mean, they should be. So really what you need is just a router, no?

What do you mean by "bad" ? How is a modem "bad" ? Is this one of those Modem/router combo unit and the router portion of it is bad? Because I honestly don't see how the modem part can be "bad".

 

Also, yes, that is a good OS SSD. A little on the expensive side of things though. A 120GB SSD is generally in the neighborhood of $60~$70 these days. But then again, that's in Australia, so... yeah.
