GTX 780 Problem! Help!

Heey!

 

I just installed my new 780, and there´s something odd happening. When I turn on my computer, it appears the "Starting Windows", but when it finishes loading, it seems that the connection between the 780 and my monitor stops, and it show nothing. However, if I enter my BIOS before it starts loading windows, and close it, it works normally.

Any Ideas?

evga gtx 780 SC

seasonic 850W power supply

Check if there is any other drives could be causeing issues by going into safe mode and seeing if it loads up.

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.


Intel 3770k stock, MSI Z77A-GD65, MSI GTX 760, Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600Mhz 16Gb, Corsair RM 550W, Samsung 830 256Gb, some random hdds.

Put the card in the second PCI-e slot, might help.

Fresh windows install, i know it sux but might help??

What display output connection are you using?

I´m using a VGA output with the adaptor that came with it. I tried using HDMI, but it didn´pt work too

Well it sounds like Windows default display must be one of the other connectors

How do I change that ? 

try multiple different connections from your graphics card to the monitor. so try hdmi, display port etc etc. this actually might be the answer, considering I have a dual monitor set-up and the second monitor goes dark when on the log-in screen
