Hello.

I'm new here so I would like to get reviews from you guys or suggestion in building a gaming PC.
Is this good and ready to go?

Processor - Intel Core i5 4690 3.5Ghz 6MB Haswell Refresh

Motherboard - MSI H97M-G43 -5th Gen/X-Fire/USBO 3.0/SATA 6GB

Video Card - MSI GTX 960 GAMING 2Gb DDR5 128bit

Memory - Kingston Hyper-X 8GB DDR3 1600/1866

HDD - Seagate 1TB 3.5 SATA

Monitor - 20" Samsung S20B300B LED Widescreen
PSU - Aerocool StrikeX 500W 80+ Bronze Modular

Also, does this provide 60+ fps? Ready for future games?

Thanks and advance.

Nope, the 960 is a potato Price to Preformance wise.

The R9 285/380 beat it performance wise and cost.

Get a R9 285, Sapphires R9 285 Compact is on sale for $160 at Newegg and has a $30 mail in rebate:

1 TB should be enough unless he has lots of triple-a games and stuff, which i doubt since it seems like this is his first gaming pc.

No he doesn't.

Usually , first pc gamer installed "everything" on their new or first gaming pc just to prove that their pc is great ! (my opinion)

I have almost this same rig. I have an i5 4590, GTX 960, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, 8GB of RAM, and a 1TB HDD.

I get around 60FPS in GTAV at high settings.

MGSV: TPP runs at 60FPS maxed.

Metro: Last Light runs at high at about 45-50 FPS

Minecraft with an insane shaderpack runs at 60FPS.

I would probably go with a 4460, as there is little to no difference between it and the 4590.

Snorlax: i7 5820k @4.5ghz, Asus X99 Pro, 32gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666, Cryorig R1 Ultimate, Samsung 850 evo 500gb, Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix, Corsair RM850x, NZXT H440, Hue+

Smallsnor: Huawei Matebook X

Canon AE-1 w/ 50mm f/1.8 lens

Pentax KM w/ 55mm f/1.8 SMC lens

Zenit-E w/ 58mm f/2 Helios lens

Panasonic G7 with 14-42mm f/3.5 lens

Polaroid Spectra System

But R9 380 is not available in my area and almost stores here are selling GTX products.

Also I chose Nvidia because some says AMD can heat fast.

You need a new storage , The game size is very big right now !

No need for now. It's my 1st build so maybe some games in there like GTA V, Fall Out 4, Witcher 3, etc.
