Hi all,

I'm planning on getting a gaming PC. Problem is I'm deciding whether to go for a pre made one or custom made one that I can build myself. I'm worried that on Black Friday I wont be able to get all parts in time as it might be busy, but whereas with a pre made one I don't have to worry much.

I'm mainly focusing on a casual gaming computer. I don't want anything too powerful or too slow. My first game will be GTA V. I've already bought it so just waiting for the time to come to play it.  Below is a list of what I've chosen. There's some missing parts as I don't know what to choose for Motherboard, Graphics card, RAM, Sound card and PSU. I'll just be using one monitor by the way. For the cases idk what to go for. I'm more into sleek modern designs. I'll probably go for the Corsair.

Currency is GBP

My range of what I can get is maybe £400? Lower be nice.

1) Intel Core I5 4690K (3.5 GHz, 6MB, LGA1150 Socket) - £167.99

2) Samsung 2.5-inch 250GB 850 EVO - £62.89

3) Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200RPM - £39.12

4) Corsair CC-9011071-WW Carbide Series 330R Titanium Mid-Tower ATX Silent Computer Case - Black/Titanium - £79.98    OR     be quiet! BG001 - Be Quiet! Silent Base 800 High End ATX Tower PC Case (Orange) - £83.59

 Thanks in advance! :D

Do you plan on overclocking? And I would wait until Cyber Monday.

You need a GPU if you want smooth gameplay. Go for a GTX 950 or a R9 380.

Black friday and cyber monday have become very similar in types of prices for deals. From last year i saw a few dollars in difference from BF to CM

That's probably your best bet right there. I may actually remove that opitcal drive unless you insist on keeping one so you could upgade the video card or what not.

Hmm. Thanks for the recommendations. I'll keep note of these differently. If necessary I could possibility go over £400. Just need to wait and see for Black Friday deals. I'm still considering on keep the SSD and Corsair case I chosen. I just need parts to fit in it. Overclocking...hmm idk

EDIT

Would this build still be good for future games? Now that I think about it I do spend quite a bit on my laptop playing games so idk. I really cant decide what to go for.
