PSU Wattage enough

I was originally going to go with an i3-4160 and upgrade to an i5-4690k. But the 4690k is about $300. The i3-4160 has two cores and HT which helps but it was most likely going to bottle neck my XFX r930 4gb. So I decided to go with the FX6300 whichever okay but it bugs me cause I know Intel processors are way better when it comes to Single per core performance.

i3-4160 wouldn't bottleneck. It would perform twice as good as a 6300 when gaming. FX-6300 is really, really poor, and the AMD upgrade route is pretty bad. I'd save money, and go with the i3. You'll get a lot more life out of it.
