I am looking for help with making a gaming pc. My budget is around $4000, and I would like to stay around the GTX 980 area of graphic cards, although I am open to new versions. I would prefer to run 4K Graphics if that is possible, but I would rather get more value for price rather than all the bragging right's stuff. A list of parts that I would need would be helpful. Thank you for the help.

4,000 can get you almost anything you want for a gaming PC, however prices add up quickly, especially if youre looking to get a monitor, keyboard, etc with that too. If you like Nvidia and want to stick with that then 2 980 TI's in SLI is a great place to start for your graphics cards. Go to pcpartpicker.com and you can build a rig.

Unless he lives in Australia; RIP. I would recommend Titan X' s in a two-way SLI for 4K; however, as the extra VRAM may come as a godsend at higher framerates.

If your budget is $4K Check out the build I made http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fg9GZL

Why so much storage? Also, no PCIe interfaced SSD' s in that budget? For 4K gaming, it might also make sense to go with a higher clocking CPU over the X99 chipset. Maybe a 6700K? On a H105 cooler, you could expect a 4.8-4.9 GHz overclock.
