my board that has 2133 (oc) and 1866 max

The max non-OCed Memory is 1866MHz but you can OC it to 2133MHz

ok thats good to hear and if it does blow up the house blame it on the cable company??

computer doesnt blow up like grenade, they usually explode like popcorn

dude I had the same problem recently, at default it will run at the mobo's top non-OC speed (this might be slower) BUT you can OC the ram up to the rated speed (just test for stability), you MIGHT have to feed it more voltage tho, I wouldn't go above 1.6 if the Ram is stock at 1.5V

Just put it, and turn on xmp profile.

So the board would set it up 1866 max, then i see if i can push it to 2133 and if not 1866 is still good,
