Computer won't shut down after sleeping

Hi

I have a home built computer with a bug.
My computer won't shut down without pressing and holding the ON/OFF button.
It displays error code 30 and sometimes 40 on an ASUS Maximus VII Ranger (Running Windows 10)
Any suggestions?

The error codes I believe are normal after some Googling, they just represent resuming from different states of sleep. However, I would suggest simply resetting the CMOS.
