What is this worth?

 

I7 4790k(never overclocked)

Cosair H100i

16GB Gskill 2133mhz ram

It was $1850 when i built it 8 months ago. 

What it cost 8 months ago doesn't really mean anything -- what matters is how much something comparable would cost today. You could build something comparable for about $1700~.

It took me 6 months to sell my old rig. It was literally the best deal on eBay. Got 3 people who didn't pay.

I feel like Craigslist would be easier if you're asking for a reasonable amount.

You got a k chip and never overclocked it?  Interesting.

It is because i have never really overclocked before,and have been trying to teach myself on old parts when i have the time,i did plan to over clock later,once i felt like i knew what i was doing i was going to overclock this rig.

I feel like Craigslist would be easier if you're asking for a reasonable amount. 

@trainergames 3 weeks ago, I sold a <slightly> upgraded HP Pavilion desktop on craigslist.  I got $190 for it. I was hoping for $200 so I was happy with what I got. 

 

It wasn't anything close to yours though. AMD A10, GTX 650, etc... etc.. a nice Antec power supply though. 

 

I also recently sold something on eBay for $850 (buy it now).  The fees are pretty shitty and take a big chunk out of the sale. PayPal took $25.  eBay took about $75. 

Shipping costs of a whole desktop PC is going to impact the bottom line, too, even if you have the seller pay because the seller is going to see the cost of shipping as a part of the whole cost of the PC and not bid as high. 

 

My point is... put most of your effort into selling it on Craigslist.  In the long run, it's worth it.  Big time.

A 2000 Honda civic 4 door,with a bad water pump,and blown head gasket, and the car is getting worse every day.

I don't know about scrap, but to sell it is worth $500-$800, the dealership that will work with me if I can come up with $1k down, has 05 impreza, and a 05 mazda 3,both for $4k each, I plan to get one of them.

those are the cheapest reliable cars that dealership has,any thing cheaper are not reliable cars brands.

I also don't have the time to look for a reliable car on craigslist, because my mom is in a nursing home 75 miles away, and it has been almost 2 months since I have been able to visit, I need a decent car sooner rather than later.

The problem is i live in a very big city,and it is very hard to find a cheap crap car that is reliable,plus with some recent flooding,flood damaged cars will be all over craigslist hidden as good deals lol.

 

I think me and my sister came up with a plan,we will do our best to get my car to last just a few more day to a week,then when i get paid pay my car insurance and another bill, then my sister's husband will over draft his bank account by about $500(his next paycheck will cover it),that with what i have left may be enough for a down payment,at least i hope so.
