How do I connect my Noctua NF-A14 PWM and NF-S12A PWM together? can I put them both into

a y cable? confused as they run at different rpms.

PWM doesn't work according to rpm. It works with pulse of power. How many rpms pulse of power is, depends on max rpm of fan. So short, yes you can use them in same y-split. They will run at different speeds, but will be alright.

Thanks, reading the manual says "If your using multiple NF-A14 PWM fans you can use the supplied y cable (splitter) to connect several fans to pwm header". Same goes for the

NF-S12A PWM. So it doesn't matter if you mix them with different rpms?

No. They will just spin in different speeds.

If anyone else is interested this is the reply from Noctua:

Dear Terry,

thank you very much for contacting us.

Yes, you can put these 2 cooler into the same splitter cable as long as the cable is a 4 pin Y-cable.
If you’re using multiple fans, you can use the supplied y-cable (NA-YC1) to connect several fans to one PWM fan header. This way, your mainboard will set all the connected fans to run at the same speed.
