Can't use my monitor's native resolution?

So, I recently bought a GTX 960 updated my display drivers properly to the latest one available, but one thing I noticed was, my monitor's native resolution (1440x900) was gone, I can't use it anymore (isn't in the options itself anywhere). My monitor is quite old (Viewsonic VA1903wm - VGA :/ ) and am using dvi to vga adapter to connect my monitor. I tried everything custom resolution doesn't work too. Please help me. The max. resolution I can get is 1680x1050 which kind of grainy. What should be the problem here?

uh... 1680x1050 is more than 1440x900. Try fiddling with the overscan settings in the Nvidia control panel.
