Go to solution Solved by techguru,

http://www.tp-link.pt/products/details/cat-18_TL-PA4020PKIT.html should be fine right?

And will it slow down router's speed?

should be fine right? ..yep

And will it slow down router's speed?...depends how good or bad the wiring in your place is

if its really old and shotty..then yea it will slow down a lot..or maybe not even work

powerline adapters work best on modern copper wiring

Hi, I'm buying a av500 powerline kit, I have a range extender that can be used as an acess point (It fails every 50 minutes or soo), If I connect a powerline near rotter and another near my pc with one cable into my pc and another to the acess point.

A) Will it f/k the speeds from the router?

B )Will the range extender work better if used as an acess point?

Yes, just hook it up to a neighbor's line, they won't know the difference on their power bill. Just don't get caught; life out in the grid is dangerous.  ;)

The joking is real

Router -----> Powerline              Powerline ----> My pc + Acess Point

if your wiring in the place is good..that will work fine

you should have a switch tho after the second powerline

so one cable goes into the pc and one into the access point

Router -----> Powerline   ------>  Powerline ----> switch--->access point
