This violates the CoC.

The part of the CoC you listed has nothing to do with this. Code =/= Files.

I would consider this "begging" as an authorization code essentially equals a game in and of itself. 

Though I could have sworn the codes are usually on/in the manual. At least that is how Crysis 1 did it.
