Watts questionning

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

so, i'm shopping for a small gpu at the moment for a secondary pc. I'm on this site looking at a 750ti and they say: computer alimentation needed: 400W. Do you think that means its 400 just for the card or they make it noob-friendly and say that for the entire powersupply?

It's for the whole power supply, and it's a very conservative estimate. You could probably get away with 250-300W if it's a decent quality power supply, depending on the other components in the system.

What @Glenwing said.

750 Ti itself uses very little power. I believe it's quite below 100 W.
