I'm installing a SSD to a computer that came with a 1TB HDD.

I'm going to install Windows 7 Professional, but I don't want the programs on the old HDD to erase.

Is there a way I can link the Programs and Files folder in the HDD with the OS that I will be installing on the SSD so that in the "Uninstall or Change Programs," I can access the programs that were already installed in the HDD?

Any help(not "just google it you lazy bastard") will be appreciated!!!

If you install software with installers they will all be in Remove Program listing as installer makes register entry for them. Regardless on what you set folder to be. In Win7 there's no easy way to setup default folder path for secondary drive and I personally don't recommend using junctions. If you ever need to do recovery, everything becomes huge mess.

My system is to have Program Files, Program Files (x86) and Program Data names folders on both C (windows) and D (secondary) drives. That way when I install new software, I just change drive letter. Most software is on secondary drive. This requires some more than just clicking next on installers, but for power use, I hope you already pay some attention to installers.
