So I have a legit copy of GTA 5 installed on my pc.. but I mostly play online only. And I want to use single player mods, but I don't wanna disable all of the mods before joining an online session to avoid getting banned.

Would it be possible to have the legit copy installed in my D drive on my secondary HDD and install a non legit copy of GTA 5 in my C drive on the main HDD for mods without the game files interfering?

It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature!

If you get a non legit copy of GTA 5 you would really have the same game installed twice and so there shouldn't be any problems.

I know about it but I wouldn't trust myself because I'd forget to disable the mods(even using that mod) and going online with mods enabled(don't want that)
