Hey, I'm looking to build a new gaming PC but I have not done it before, I'm looking to game in 1080p max setting on games such as fallout 4 when it releases, I also play a lot of CSGO, this is a build i have come up with and need help optimizing the parts or just getting a whole different  build. My budget is around $1200 but I can be flexable.

The 390 is a better choice overall than the 970

But do you already own a high refresh rate monitor?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

no, I look to buy one soon after I get my Pc

Then I'd suggest just getting an unlocked i5 with a solid cooler for overclocking once you get your 144hz display since you'll want your frame rate to be as high as possible

If you don't plan on going over 60fps, go with this.

That psu is way too big for that setup. The Motherboard only has a single pci-e slot.
