Hey,

1. Budget & Location

So basically i'm going to buy myself new PC , only parts i'll keep from old rig is my GPU (GTX 970 G1) and 2xSSD with the HDD.

Monitor should not be included.

Budget stands at the moment around 1500 USD ( I do live in Israel so it's different but most of the parts from amazon/newegg etc etc are pretty much the same here so no problem)

CPU will be 5820k or 6700K ( i'll go for the 5820K i'm pretty sure).

Cooling should be something pretty decent ( does not matter for me if it's air/water cooling)

DDR4 with decent timing(quad channel most likely) and speed to get the slight improvement.

PSU And case is mostly the only issue i'm facing and having a trouble to pick something around with the mobo, so here where i probably need your suggestions..

Current build i'm aiming at the moment :

i7-5820K

GA-X99-UD4 (Gigabyte)  / X99A Raider (MSI)

16GB (4x4GB) 2666MHz DDR4 CL15 DIMM HyperX FURY Black Series

P100 Advanced Super Mid Tower / Three-Hundred-Two-Antec

Antec VP600P / RA-650 - FSP (Raider)

Corsair H100i

2. Aim
System is going to be for gaming mainly while streaming ( using OBS x264 ).

3. Monitors
Planning to run 2 monitors - 1080p's

4. Peripherals
No need.

5. Why are you upgrading?
Coming from 2500K @ 4.6ghz stable with z68x mobo...it's about time after 5 years to get a good upgrade overall.

Thanks in advance

Please use http://www.pcpartpicker.com/ to create a list, that way you'll be able to see what you can get and it's compatibility. Also, that PSU is... not very good at all.. an EVGA G2 or GS series PSU would be better and any PSU made by Super flower or Seasonic are great too.

Welcome to the forums :D Please remember to follow your own threads.

Hey,

Well you're going to be pretty well off then, the coolermaster Nepton coolers can be had for less than corsair ones at least in the US, and the HAF XB evo is like the best case ever, but that's just me

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

How about the case ?is it any good? any other suggestions about the mobo pick?

Also, the shop does not have EVGA PSU at all...they do have Seasonic  tho

Thanks for that suggestion, i will look into that cooling and case, i'm trying to minimize costs on unnecessary things/bad quality products and that's why i opened this thread :)

For the motherboard, both are good, so you can choose which is cheaper/whichever looks better

For the case, you could go with the Fractal Design Define R5 or the Define S. (Those were the first two cases that came to mind when thinking silence and good looks :P)

Yeah they are pretty great but cost another 50-70 bucks easy...where i can't see a true reason to get them unless i'm missing a point for them being better than other (not very into good looking and pure silence case)

There's also the S340 which has great build quality and it's relatively small and cheap.

For the PSU, literally ANYTHING by Seasonic is good :D and the cooler, if you want watercooling there's the Nepton 120V which is cheap 120mm AIO.

Here is the water cooling list that is on store at the moment - prices from lowest (top) to highest (button)

CoolerMaster Seidon 120V Plus Liquid cooling system

Antec KUHLER H2O 650 Liquid Cooling System

Used Hydro Series™ H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - Intel™ LGA 2011 Only

Hydro Series™ H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Hydro Series™ H55 Quiet CPU Cooler

Silverstone - SST-TD03-E - Tundra TD03-E

Antec KUHLER H2O 950 Liquid Cooling System

Hydro Series H75 Liquid CPU Cooler

Antec KUHLER H2O 1250 Liquid Cooling System

Zalman - Reserator-3-Max - Ultimate Liquid CPU Cooler

CoolerMaster Nepton 140XL Liquid cooling system

Hydro Series™ H90 140mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Fractal Design Kelvin T12 Full copper Liquid Cooling

Hydro Series™ H105 240mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Nepton 280L Liquid cooling system

Seidon 240M Liquid cooling system

Hydro Series™ H100i Extreme Performance CPU Cooler

There are more but they become way too pricey for me.

An i7-6700K would likely be a better cpu choice, especially gaming at 1080.

Yeah, for gaming 6700k will be amazingly good ,but when encoding comes into play with "future looking" (lets call it like that) i guess that extra core will handle things that might change in the nearest future ( again the prices are very similar only 20$)
