It's a PCI-E expansion slot but it requires a riser card for it to work (HP model T610):

I have an HP thin client, but im not sure of what model it is. I know to look for a model number, but it doesnt 
It has an SSD slot, a PCI express slot, 4 gb of Ram, and a CPU fan.
however, i dont have a power cord, so i cant check out what processor it has.
I have been scouring the internetz to figure it out, but i cant find anything on it.
here are some pictures!

 

 

if one of you guys happen to know what it is, or can find it, i would love to see it

have you tried searching the serial number on hps website ? that might yield some answers

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .

i cant even find the serial number. ive looked on all panels and everything. believe me, i tried

the sticker just above the hp logo , is that not the serial number or something along those lines ? thought it was

after some more reasearch it appears theres a special spot for the serial

I came abit too late here for helping, but seeing that you give youre self the best answer when some one else actusly gave you that answer, then its abit of a dick move wich could make some ppl not wanting to help so much again, W-L should have gotten the "best answer" since he/she was the one who came with the actualy answer.
