Dooood

verizon is unrootable

and they lock their bootloaders

trust me

i have a S5 from verizon its fucking stupid man...

I am trying to root my HTC One M8, but everytime I try the command: fastboot oem get_identifier_token, It stalls at <waiting for device>

I am only at the unlock bootloader stage, I have not installed any custom recovery yet.

If you could please help me with this, that would be so kind of you.

(P.S: I have just installed all the new drivers and things required today, all drivers are up-to-date)

Which drivers?

You need the ADB drivers and not the file transfer drivers.

Oh and you gotta enable USB Debugging too.

I saw youtube videos on rooting the verizon varient

they locked it ever since

it doesnt work anymore

trust me

they are all old and have been patched

how old is your phone? when was the last time you had a firmware update?

If the firmware begins with BOG5 then your screwed, atleast in the s5 varient.
