What's your project like, or what are your build proprieties?Do you have other source files in the same project?

It looks like you have two main functions.One in a main.c file.

Delete that one.

People, please can you help me to sort this problem? I reinstalled the program three times deleting all the previous installs and it gave me the line: "gnu gcc compiler not found" so i reset the settings of the compiler to default and it didn't give me any more that line problem; but still, it doesn't build or run any working codes, here is a screenshot of it...

( I installed the version with mingw included in it )

you were right, the new file wasn't completely blank, it had a hello world code by default in it
