Which windows folder is my active one?

Hello, so I managed to fuck up somehow. Everytime I boot my pc I get to choose which windows I want to boot.

"Windows 10 on drive 1"

Or

"Windows 10 on drive 6"

I don't have 6 drives.

If I pick the drive 1 I get the windows that I want to boot. The drive 6 is my old windows 10 (which I thought I removed).

I did a disk cleanup on my C drive and it removed old windows files (a couple of GB) and that didn't solve my problem.

Then I checked my D disk and wth, there's a windows folder! What's up with that? I never install windows on mechanical drives.
Edit: My D disk turned out to be an SSD too. I'm forgetful. The problem still persists.

Is it safe to just format my D drive to remove that windows or do I have to do some steps to remove that windows installation?
