Got a 390x yesterday, installed it in my system, downloaded some games, downloaded the drivers, but for some reaso, when i'm gaming, I will get WHEA_UNCORRECTABLEE_ERROR BSOD, and they screen will be all weird. Blue/green artifacts split on left/right side. Blue on left, green on right. I'm not sure if this is because it's overheating, as I don't know the tjmax for a 390x, but during gaming, it will get around 80c, most often lower, but it gets very close to 80c. I've turned up the fan profile for it using MSI Afterburner, and ramped my fans to 100% since noise doesn't really bother me. It doesn't happen while playing CSGO, but it does happen while playing FC4 (max settings 1080P) and Dying Light (Also maxed) I played Witcher 3 for a bit, but it was either not long enough for it to heat up much, or it is not an overheating issue. I can play for probably a good half hour to 45min before it BSODs.

Using BlueScreenView, it references hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe as the cause of the BSOD. I gots no idea what these are, but maybe you do. Please halp. :)

80c is fine its not that.

That's what I was thinking as well, I don't know what it could be, maybe the driver is a bad one, or it bugged while installing. I have no idea. i can play CSGO for fucking ages and have no problems whatsoever, but 30min of FC4 kicks me to BSOD? If the GPU was bad, I would suppose that CSGO would BSOD me too.

I chose the regular driver as i figured it would be stabler than the beta. I'll go ahead and switch them out.

Moving to BETA driver, all settings are stock btw, no oc on any hardware.

I'm running whatever the most up-to-date driver is, as I downloaded it yesterday. :)

Okay, so with the beta driver, now the GPU doesn't go above 50c.

same fps?

Meh, kinda dropped in some area. I adjusted the FPS target (which may be OCing the GPU which MIGHT be what caused the crashes) and it heats up to 65ish max now.

Hasn't crashed yet, but we'll see.

I don't even mind the GPU getting to 80c, because it warms up my feet. (I rest my feet on the top of my pc case) :)
