Hello,Im building my new pc and i got phantek enthoo pro and there's this hub at the back confusing me a  lot when it comes to connect the hub power there's a sata power on left and 4 pins pwm controller on right and there's already 2 case fans connected to the hub already, there's a lot of people saying that i need to connect sata and the 4 pins connector and some people said that i need to use only 1 connector or sata or 4 pins and the first part of the manual says "For full PWM functionality, Phanteks’ PWM hub requires users to connect the 4-pin connector to the “CPU_Fan” connector of the motherboard, because all motherboard manufacturers implements a PWM signal modulation on this connector. Connect the SATA 12V power to power the PWM hub." and the last part of the manual says "The PWM hub will draw its power from the 4-pin connector, which is limited to a total device consuming 30W in total."  thats confusing  so any help will be appreciate it

Hello ThatOneRussian and thank you for reply, its only 2 fanns connected to the hub that already came with the case do you think the 4 pins are enough ? and i shouldnt plug the sata the 4 pins will power the hub only without the sata?

i mean if its only two fans if youre that worried why not plug them into the mobo. im fairly sure its only the PWM that needs to be connected to the mobo

Alright, thank you but when i should use the sata connector? i mean when people use them both for what use?

I have the Enthoo Pro and the fan controller is plugged into a chassis fan 4 pin header and the PWM works fine. But that's with the SATA power unplugged. Maybe it's different if I plugged it into the CPU FAN header like the instructions recommend, but I use a stock cooler and there would be no way to reach the fan controller in that location. If I plug in the SATA connector for the fan controller it runs them all at 100% speed.

So what should i do? connect the sata power or no? im gonna put my cpu fan cooler to cpu1 and the hub to cpu 2 so reaching stuff isn't a problem for me all i want is to finish this build im doing but i want to know how to power the hub correctly im gonna only run the fans that came with the case only so what should i do exactly? put sata or no? or only 4 pins and if the fans run 100% if you plug sata why they are saying to put it in the first part of manual? they said if you're using a true pwm header you need to plug the sata and the last part of manual saying "The PWM hub will draw its power from the 4-pin connector,

which is limited to a total device consuming 30W in total"" thats confusing me a lot

It confused me too. Just plug it in like they say and if you're running full speed then open the case back up and unplug it.
