PS4 controller mapping to mouse/keyboard

Go to solution Solved by Sharp_3yE,

I want to connect my laptop to the TV so I can play Dragon Age:Origins with highest settings. My girlfriend enjoys watching me play games and having her sit in a chair, next to my desk, seems uncomfortable.

So, I have a PS4 controller that I can connect to my PC via Bluetooth. Using ds4Windows by Jays2Kings, I was able to use the controller's touchpad as a mouse controller, and I have a add-on Nyko keyboard that works. Turns out that DA:O doesn't have native controller support.  I am lost when it comes to mapping keyboard mouse to the controller, wirelessly. It seems that Input Mapper only works via USB cable, which I am trying to avoid. Any direction would be helpful, as my initial searching did not yeild results.

Thanks for any helpful input. ;)

If your game supports xbox 360 controller then you can use this instead http://ds4windows.com/ it will emulate the PS4 controller to a xbox 360 controller. Xinput (what a xbox 360 controller uses and most games incorporate it into their games) is in windows already. Otherwise the other ones that were mentioned to map a controller to a keyboard and mouse work fine. I also found this one http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/176263-how-to-use-a-dualshock-4-to-play-pc-games

Xpadder

+1 to Xpadder, I use it for toying around with MMO's and older games with my X360 controller. Not sure how well the DS4 will be detected by Xpadder, but I'd assume it'd be fine. Xpadder is $10 from their official website that provides up-to-date versions of the program, but they have released some Freeware versions of the program every now and then. I use the Freeware and it works just fine.

Official website: http://www.xpadder.com/

Freeware version: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/xpadder_%28last_freeware_version%29.html

Also you can get the DS4 controller image here to help with mapping buttons: http://xpadder.com/forum4/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=4794
