Win 10 install stuck on updates

I am setting up some new pc's for a small office. The windows 10 went through the download 100% and is now stuck on "Getting Updates. Checking for updates: 0%"

 

Its been stuck on 0% for about 20 mins now. Should I just close the installer or will that make me restart the process again?

can you try restarting the Updates Services?

 

I encounter this before but i usually let it run for quite a while longer

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Im running on administrator and it wont let me turn it off and on in CMD, says access denied, might be due to the fact its currently running?

yes it possible

 

did you run CMD in admin mode?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I updated a friends Windows 10 the other day it took like 2 hours to get though the "Getting Updates" part...But I let its do its thing and install went smoothly. 

My new Gaming PC.

Yes. It tried to stop but then said could not be stoppped.

I think it still helped, as its now finally started to improve in % now at 11%.
