Is there any way to solve the DNS error? i was about to smash my modem -.- my ISP can't do anything cuz they're freaking stupid and have no idea why this is happening , speedtest is around 3mb/s but it shouldn't keep giving me DNS error everytime i try to acces a page..

I just moved and i don't know what to do , i live pretty far and there's no way i can get better signal here (i have cable internet)

Try Google's public DNS servers. 8.8.8.8 and 8.4.4.4

Already tried that , also tried 208.67 etc..nothing..

You can make your router a dns server. Try and see if it works with a local IP address (192.168...... Ect) if that doesn't work try setting the dns in windows if you haven't already done so.

Very odd. Try restarting your router.

Trust me i tried everything..restart  the modem..resetting it ..unplugging the pc + modem and leaving them, changing the settings , calling ISP, everything there is , already tried it..

Replace then. If it's causing all the issues, then change it. What brand is it?

You started this thread with a screenshot showing a DNS resolution error trying to access Twitch. I linked the IP for Twitch so you could verify if your internet connection is working at all. Did you even click the link?

 

You said that you are getting a DNS error everytime you access a page, but you say that you do have internet connectivity - which one is it?

I didnt say i don't have internet connectivity , i said i get a DNS error when i try to acces a page , not just twitch , also happens when i google something , youtube..etc..happens like every 2 minutes . And yes i clicked the link and it redirected me to twitch

lets issolate your problem

 

Hit,  

Windows + R

Type 

cmd

In the block command window type

nslookup

then type some domains

microsoft.com

google.com

twitch.com

 

see what the results are, you can type some of them multiple times to soo if its an intermittent problem, dont forget to use the problem domain for you too.

 

post your results on here
