So ive been trying to record gameplay footage with obs.

but ive tried multiple configurations of obs and all of them either coused gameplay lag or rendering bugs on the footage.

i have a intel core I7 4790k and a avga 960 4gb

i want to record in 1080p 60 if at all possible

You have a 960, why aren't you using ShadowPlay?

well ive been tinkering a lot with it and im about to reset to default but at the moment its 1000kbs with no buffer

Thats weird because you should be able to do 3500 no problem on a 4790k Hell I stream/record at 1080p 60fps at 5500 bit rate and everything runs fine
