So here is the background. I upgraded my system to a 6700k, Z170-A and 2x8 of G Skill DDR4. I got into Windows 7 on first boot and tried installing drivers then lost USB connectivity. Spent all day trying to find the problem only to find out that Skylake doesn't support W7. I wiped and formatted the HDD to NTFS then tried to install W10 and got the 0x8007025D. I've been using Rufus to install because I've had good luck with it before but now I'm completely stumped. I don't have an optical drive so my only options are to do it through USB. Anyone else have any insight?

You can create a bootable installer drive using Microsoft's own tool which also downloads the latest ISO for the OS. Rufus was good. 2 years ago.

That error message has something to do with the languages of the OS.  Usually people just reset the language and its fixed.
