Posted October 20, 2015 Alright most of my worries are answered. I just hope my power bill won't increase that much since I'll be using this for around 3-4hours a day. Thanks guys ! :D in 3-4 years maybe you'll notice 30$ less in your pocket. AMD don't use that much more power as people would have you believe. 390 uses 80W more than a 970 Archangel (Desktop) CPU: i5 4590 GPU:Asus R9 280 3GB RAM:HyperX Beast 2x4GBPSU:SeaSonic S12G 750W Mobo:GA-H97m-HD3 Case:CM Silencio 650 Storage:1 TB WD RedCelestial (Laptop 1) CPU:i7 4720HQ GPU:GTX 860M 4GB RAM:2x4GB SK Hynix DDR3Storage: 250GB 850 EVO Model:Lenovo Y50-70Seraph (Laptop 2) CPU:i7 6700HQ GPU:GTX 970M 3GB RAM:2x8GB DDR4Storage: 256GB Samsung 951 + 1TB Toshiba HDD Model:Asus GL502VTWindows 10 is now MSX! - http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/440190-can-we-start-calling-windows-10/page-
 Posted October 20, 2015 Luke did it in Scrapyard wars on a Antec VP 500W IIRC. The S12II will be able to handle a 390 no issues - unless you have an FX processor or are planning on going crazy with power target/voltage on the GPU you'll be fine - you'll likely get 1100 core with ease at stock voltage and power I am running a Gigabyte 390X on a XFX 550W PSU
 Posted October 20, 2015 the brother of my bestfriend's cousin's boyfriend used to say...Ha I'm joking...Sapphire has great quality ,and stock clocking isn't an issue, You can OC as you want ,but this card can't go higher than 1200,so no matter which brand actually. This sapphire one seems doesn't include a backplate but this could be useful because it looks cool and easy to clean. It has a backplate Echelon Mk 2.11 Spoiler Processor: Intel Core i5-6500 Cooler: Cryorig H7 (With a 120 mm Thermaltake Riing RGB) Motherboard: MSI B150M Bazooka Plus Memory: 16 (2x8) GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX Fury (Black) Video Card: Sapphire NITRO R9 390 (Stock) Storage: 1 TB Western Digital Blue Power Supply: 520 W Seasonic M12II Evo (with custom extensions and cable combs) Casing: NZXT S340 Elite (Matte Black) Fans: 2x 120 mm & 3x 140 mm Thermaltake Riing RGB Display: 22 " LG Flatron L227WTG-PF LCD (OCed to 76 Hz) Keyboard: Logitech K120 Mouse: Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury Mousepad: SteelSeries QcK Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
 Posted October 20, 2015 Author One other possible issue: Case size Heres my case: Aerocool GT Advanced Black Here's the size from the sapphire website: 308 X 127 X 42.3 Dimension /mm I think there will be problems fitting the card here, since after 293mm, the cage(?) will be in the way. I haven't seen the card in person, any thoughts on this ? Posted October 20, 2015 Author You'll just remove the drive cage - easy really. Opened my case. See that removing the case might not be possible. Grabbed a ruler. Did some measurement. See that the card might fit. I think it will fit, the cables will need to be rearranged though. Anyway, aside from the hype/excitement/whatever I'm feeling, I think I'm fine with this card. CPU: Intel i5-4590 | Motherboard: Asus H97M-E | GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 390 | RAM: 2x4Gb Kingston HyperX Fury Black | SSD: Sandisk Plus 240Gb | HDD: Seagate 250Gb | PSU: Seasonic G650 80+ Gold | Case: NZXT S340 I am who I am.
