Heyo,

Up till now I have been using a razer deathstalker, aka pretty meh membrane keyboard. I liked the idea of RGB keyboards but 200$ is what most of them cost around here, and that's a bit too much for me.

My only experience with a mechanical keyboard is a model m ripoff, so I'm not even completely sure that the mechanical life is the way to go.

Any of you know of any RGB keyboards that are around the $100-$130 range?

I was also thinking about the chroma version of my current keyboard, since I'm used to it and it dosent cost too much (around $100 last time I checked)

That's not too bad, but it would likely be much more expensive here in Canada. Also, even though I rarely use the number pad, it's pretty essential in games like gta, so the K70 or the likes would be better for me.

The k70 rgb is relatively cheap

Ouch... I'll check other retailers if its any cheaper, but so far that's the most expensive rgb keyboard I've come across xD

Try looking in the corsair "outlet" (Refurbished stuff), I got my corsair k70 RGB for $130 from there, it's absolutely fantastic.

Mine had MX Red switches, though they might have others from time to time.

G.Skills keyboard? i heard it was good and if you like mx brown you might like it more, but i've never used it. though the k70 is a good keyboard and your not taking a shot in the dark with the G.Skill keyboard.

Edit: also its 150 on newegg which is less than the k70 near in the 160-170 range

Is the software any good? I find the path that razer has taken a good middle ground, where it isn't too simple, but not overly complicated like corsair's approach.
