I needed to swap a hard drive from my grandmas macbook pro so i went to reinstall osx from the mac recovery thing it installed me mac osx snow leopard. Now when i try to go to the app store and download El Capitan it downloads it and says the download maybe faulty or it has been tempered with. I have downloaded the 6gb file now twice and wouldn't want to download it again. So ltt's mac people wake up and help meh.

maybe if you told us the model number we could help you. because not all macbooks supoort taking out the hard drive
