Shortcut for mic

Go to solution Solved by Captain Matt,

Hello guys,

just wanted to ask if there is a way to create a shortcut on the keyboard to mute the mic? Since when im ingame its kinda dumb to tab out to teamspeak to press the mute button.

I just found a way with a programm but it would be better if there is  a nonprogramm way to do it. Im using Teamspeak only and a Roccat Isku if this matters

You can do it IN teamspeak! :)

>Settings

>Options

>Hotkeys

I like using F9 for mute mic, F10 for mute sound.

I use / and * on the numpad for OBS recording/start stop streaming so those could be options for you too.

Also convenient buttons for playing games and finger overlap is difficult in fast paced first person shooters.

Stinky foot boards would make a GREAT answer to this problem. To me (and I don't own one) they seem more like a productivity tool as well as a gaming tool! Also very cool for handicapped gamers.

I have a mouse with an extra button that I macroed to F9. Works perfectly for push to talk.

I'm not sure that would work for all grip styles... I use a RAT 7. I love it. The button layout could be SLIGHTLY better but I personally use a claw grip and assign the buttons I can reach to in-game things, so it would affect my grip if I were to clench my mouse on the harder to reach keys in order to tlak which would take away from my aim. Alternatively, placing the assignment on the more handy buttons would affect how easy it is for me to execute some actions in game.
