Texmod issues Windows 10.

Hi, 

 

I am looking to revitalize Need For Speed Most Wanted through the addition of texture packs. So far, this has been the progression of my night.....

 

Step 01. Get the texture packs desired

Step 02. Get Texmod

Step 03. Watch ample YouTube videos to understand Texmod

Step 04. Replicate what you see on YouTube

Step 05. Wonder why it doesn't work

Step 06. Google your problems

Step 07. Refuse to believe nobody has an answer

Step 08. Repeat steps 3 through 7 multiple times only to be bitterly disappointed with the results

Step 09. Admit defeat

Step 10. Assume fetal position

Step 11. Suffer mild forms of post traumatic stress

Step 12. Contact Linus and the team

Step 13. Re-assume the fetal position

 

So please, someone... , for the sake of all those whom will unknowingly and innocently partake in a similar course of action, tell me how to fix my problem, so a [sOLVED] banner can take its place in the google search 'wtf is Texmod not working!?'.

 

P.s. the error message I receive is as follows; "error status 0xc0000022"
